Website troubleshooting

Your business or organisation may not have the person hours to put into fixing a poorly performing website, but you’re aware that it’s limiting you. This is where Public Face can come in and help you.

Maybe your site’s loading slowly, but you’re not sure why.

We can investigate the causes and help remedy them.

Maybe you need some technical assistance from your website’s hosts, but don’t have the time or the confidence to get into technical issues with their support people.

With your permission, we can communicate with your hosts and get the problem solved.

Maybe your site needs an overhaul, or some restructuring, and you don’t have either the expertise or availability in-house.

Discuss your needs with us, and we’ll do all we can to help.

Case Study

Sadie Pizzey approached us about her Interior Design website, running on WordPress.

Although hosted by a highly reputable WordPress host (Bluehost), Sadie’s site was taking an enormously long time to load: around 15 seconds for the First Contentful Paint (when a visitor can see something meaningful in the browser) which, on the internet might as well be forever.

We took every step we could to bring that time down, and looked in to all aspects of the hosting setup, the way WordPress was configured, the combination of plugins used, and much more. After some thorough work in those areas, we were able to bring that time down to a much more useable ~4 seconds – a saving of over 70%. This was all achieved on her existing hosting plan with Bluehost.

“My original site was slow and clunky but Daren worked tirelessly to make it the best it could be. He completely took all the stress off my hands and even communicated with my website host directly, which meant I didn’t have to be involved at all.

“Daren’s knowledge and skills are excellent: he certainly understands the complex world of web design. Daren worked long hours to make sure every problem was resolved. I would definitely recommend Public Face and I will be using them again very soon.”
